NJDEP Oil Tank Grant Program Halted
Quick Environmental received a letter May 3rd, 2011 from the NJEDA / NJDEP concerning the UST Grant Program in New Jersey. The subject of this letter is "The Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Remediation, Upgrade and Closure Fund (UST Fund)". The letter explains that there are insufficient funds for the program, and as a result there is a hold and possible cancellation of the grant funding programs until 2014 or 2015. Effective May 3rd, 2011, new UST Fund applications for both leaking and non-leaking tank programs will not be processed. Please click here to read the letter.
